The plates are mostly used for floors and walls machines used in mining.
In this area, the most important characteristics are:

- -lot smoother
- -unloading easier
- -quieter operation
High and ultra-high molecular polyethylene is known for various specifications (impact resistance, abrasion resistance, resistance to temperatures from -200ºC to +80ºC, chemical resistance, and also has a sliding properties).
Problems solved due to the material properties:
- -less adhesion of the material, particularly at low temperatures
- -faster flow of materials
- -wear resistance
- -good insulation properties
